Elf (Infinifilm Edition) (2003)

Elf (Infinifilm Edition)4 stars

“Elf” is authentically great. Not a movie with some funny bits there and there, but a great comedy; The movie is cleverly written, deftly directed, and skillfully acted. “Elf” is the story of a human who was adopted by Christmas elves and who returns to our world to find his biological father. Will Ferrell plays Buddy, the adopted elf, is hysterically funny. Will Ferrell is a delightful Buddy and bring lots give the character a lot of charm and childish personality (Will Ferrell at his best!). Buddy is naive to the point of stupidity, but charming all the while. His lovable behavior gains him friends in spite of his awkard efforts. He is sweet, kind and generous. Hilarious, charming, child-like absurdity, “Elf” has all the ingredients to a great family holidays movie.  Totally delightful, “Elf” is recommended to viewers of all ages, and if you are looking for a true Christmas feel-good movie, this is your movie.
